When you’re dog training, chain slip collars are a good option. This type of dog collars and leashes are excellent for teaching your dog to heel, as you can yank the chain and make the collar tighten uncomfortably when your dog disobeys your dog training. Do not leave the dog collar on the dog when not dog training, as it isn’t safe if it gets caught on something.
Training Your Stubborn Dog with Metal Prong Collars
The metal prong collar looks rather severe, but basically serves the same purpose as a chain slip collar. They also should be removed whenever you’re not training the dog as they are also a risk to get caught on something.

Otherwise, your dog will think it is OK to pull on the leash. Don’t let your dog use so much leash that their dog collars and leashes get tangled, it’s dangerous.
